The spirit of spring
The third edition of the Four Hands project, featuring visual artist Isabelle Braemer
PERFORMANCES

This time, the classical music concert preceded the live performance by painters Svetlana Arefiev and Isabelle Braemer.
This is a live artistic performance where two artists create an artwork simultaneously in front of the audience.
A long roll of paper is fixed to the wall, evoking the surface of a mural. The artists apply images to the paper—either in sync or in turn—transforming the act of creation into a visual performance. The audience witnesses the unfolding of the project and the interaction between the artists, who may improvise, complement each other, or develop a unified work.
The brilliant musicians Alexandra Roshchina and Alain Jacquon, performing as the duo “Duo Hands,” presented a musical program on the same theme: "The Spirit of Spring."
✨ The fusion of live painting and classical music created a truly immersive experience, where sight and sound spoke the same poetic language.
🎨 Each brushstroke responded to a musical phrase, and each note seemed to echo the movement of color on paper—an inspiring dialogue between two forms of expression.
🌸 “The Spirit of Spring” resonated not only in the music but also in the evolving imagery—floral, vibrant, and full of renewal.
👀 Audiences were not just spectators, but witnesses to a moment of shared creation—fleeting, emotional, and unforgettable.
